Foothsteps of faith

Footsteps of Faith is a Bible teaching curriculum of 8 courses for children in grades 1-6. The overall purpose of the curriculum is to teach children the Word of God so that they will come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him throughout life in loving obedience. The first volumes of Footsteps of Faith were published in the 1940s and to the present year continue to be expanded and upgraded for today's teaching environments.

Footsteps of Faith is a non-graded, undated curriculum that presents the unfolding of God's redemptive plan through a systematic, chronological study of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The curriculum provides solid Bible content with practical life application for children.

The curriculum is arranged in 4 Old Testament and 4 New Testament courses or volumes - each with its own theme and series of lessons. Each volume contains 14 to 19 lessons. Although course material is arranged sequentially, students can join in on any lesson during the series. Each volume and lesson have a built-in review system whereby lesson material is reviewed, reinforced and related to the overall theme. The duration of teaching a course depends on the frequency of class sessions and the length of class time. It takes a minimum of 30 minutes to present a complete lesson, which includes using the Review Chart and teaching the memory verse and the Bible lesson itself.

Footsteps of Faith is suitable for Bible club, Sunday school, children's church, released time class, camp, Christian school and home teaching.

Teaching kit includes:

- Teacher's text

- Flanelgraph figures with review tokens

- Review chart
